Blue Niobium "Amethyst" Brooch & Pendant

This one-of-a-kind, versatile brooch and pendant is inspired by natural forms in amethyst and crystals. Featuring anodised blue niobium with a silver backing, a single steel brooch pin and a loop for a chain to be worn as a pendant.

The 'fantasy gemstone' was made from a sheet of niobium metal that was formed using the technique of chasing and repoussé and anodised to 80-85 volts for the iridescent blue colour.
