Anodised Niobium Polygon Crystal Crater Brooch

Contemporary anodised niobium and silver brooch inspired by rocks and crystals found in nature. 

The centre of the brooch features a hand chased sparkling texture, representing the cracks and craters found in rocks. This was made from a flat sheet of niobium, which was anodised using electricity to create the iridescent gold and blue colours. The niobium is invisibly riveted to a silver backing.
