Pyrite Cylindrical Box
This design is inspired by the silver samples that I worked on throughout my degree.
The rock-like forms on the top of the box contrast with the clean and sipmle shape of the box.
The shapes would be made using the ancient technique of chasing and repoussé. In this technique, I use diamond burrs as chasing tools to hammer on the sparkling rock texture.
This design would be made in silver and blue anodised niobium, featuring wire cubes that lift off the box.
